Rand Jarallah is an artist and activist who uses makeup as her preferred medium of expression. Born and raised in Palestine, she grew up with conflict as a daily experience. From an early age, she found her outlet and relief from living under occupation in art. The tools have changed over time, but the strong emotions that fuel her work remain the same.
Randistic was created as a platform for Rand to tell her story and encourage others to share theirs, fulfilling her lifelong dream to create human connections via art. Using makeup as her medium, she touches on themes that range from the Palestinian experience to gender, violence, depression, and consolation. Having worked with the United Nations in implementing makeup campaigns and having been featured in Vogue Magazine, Rand knows that the journey has only begun.
