Faraj Suleiman is a Palestinian composer and pianist who was born in Al-Ramah in the Palestinian Galilee in 1984. He is currently based in Paris.
His music is strongly influenced by Arabic/Eastern melodies and rhythms, and he often incorporates their scales and modalities in his compositions. In addition to being inspired by his Arabic culture, he is also influenced by jazz traditions.

Faraj has composed instrumental solo pieces for piano and is keen to move between piano and oud, integrating Oriental sound, orchestra, musical theater, and cinema. He strives to produce a diverse body of work in a variety of disciplines, juggling different experiences.
He also has worked on several musical productions that incorporate modern Arabic poetry, such as the poetic concert Love in the Cloud and the poetic music album Al-Bashiq, from the poems of Taha Muhammad Ali.
Faraj has produced several albums that have placed the Eastern piano at the center of the composition, ranging from solo piano compositions to quartets, quintets, and arrangements for choir and full orchestra.

To date, his work includes Login (2013), Three Steps (2013), Love in the Cloud (2014), Al-Bashiq (2014), Mid-Spring Holiday (2015), Mud (2015), Opening of the Palestinian Museum (2016), Mire the Concert (2016), Aekara (2017), Once Upon a City (2017), Love Without a Story (2017), and Toy Box, which was released in 2018. Faraj recently released his first album of songs called Second Verse.
