Younes Yameen, an agricultural expert and economist, currently works as an adviser to the Palestinian market development program implemented by the DAI. He holds a BA in agricultural economics and rural development from An-Najah National University, Nablus, and is studying towards a master’s degree at Al-Quds University, where he is examining the factors that influence the quality of Medjool dates. For sixteen years he has worked in developmental and consulting businesses, among them the Agricultural Development Association in Palestine, PARC, Solutions for Development Consulting, and Moon Valley Enterprises, where he served as a quality-control manager.
