Ambassador Musa Kulaklikaya is the director general of SESRIC and is currently pursuing his PhD at Necmettin Erbakan University in Konya, Turkey. He has held government posts in Turkey with increasing responsibility in development-related fields, where he enhanced collaboration with international partners that include the World Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), and SESRIC. He received the award of the ECO and the World Food Day Award from FAO in 2010. From 2011 to 2015, he served as the Ambassador of Republic of Turkey to Islamic Republic of Mauritania. He is the author of numerous publications.
