Ambassador Marwan E. Toubassi is the ambassador of the State of Palestine in Greece. Holding a master’s degree in international studies from Birzeit University, and having completed the course Managing Political and Economic Transition offered by the Palestinian Leadership in Development Program of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Athens, Greece, he has held the posts of Palestinian deputy minister of tourism and antiquities and governor of Tubas and the Northern Valleys Governorate before in 2013, he became Palestine’s ambassador to Greece. Since 2016, he has served as dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps.
