Geoffrey D. Prewitt is UNDP’s former Deputy Special Representative in the occupied Palestinian territory. His previous post was as chief of the development programming section of the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) in Bonn, Germany, where he was responsible for oversight in 100+ countries. He was the deputy head of the UNDP Regional Center in Cairo, supporting 17 countries. He holds an MA in international development from Cornell University and a BA in history from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
