Basil Nasser joined the United Nations Development Programme/Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP) as programme management officer in 1998. In 2007, he took on the position of programme analyst, and currently he is the acting head of the Gaza Office. He has furthermore served in the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme as projects officer (1994-1995), and later joined the ministry of planning. Basil holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Implementation of Development Projects from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
