Dr. Asa’d Ramlawi is a medical doctor and Palestinian public health expert specialized in tropical medicine (Rome University). He has held the posts of deputy minister of health (from 2015 to 2019), director general of primary health care and public health (for about ten years), and director of the preventive medicine unit at the Ministry of Health. He has served as WHO temporary adviser consultant and has taken a leading role in implementing numerous national programs in the Palestinian health care system at the primary and secondary levels.
