Ahmad Junaid Sorosh-Wali is Officer-in-Charge, Head of UNESCO Ramallah Office. He has been the Head of Culture Unit in this office since 2013. He joined UNESCO in 2002, first as consultant at the World Heritage Centre and then as Programme Specialist in the Tangible Heritage Section. In 2005, he was appointed as Focal Point for Western, Nordic, Baltic and South-East Mediterranean Europe at World Heritage Centre before joining UNESCO Ramallah Office. Mr. Sorosh-Wali holds a master’s degree in architecture (DPLG) and another in heritage conservation and management in the Middle East and Maghreb from France.
